TAKEN is a series of photographs that were created by collaging photographs of street graffiti I have taken. I have been taking photographs and exploring graffiti images for many years. I am interested in where the street is treated as an alternative gallery and as a place for the "peoples" art. This type of graffiti is often created from stencil art and common in urban areas. It often depicts the politics of the time and character of the artist.

The prints are then produced life-size too overpower the viewer in the gallery. Below the prints is the location of where the original graffiti images were taken.
